Arrival Procedures
White Marsh Campus- Building 1 (Grades K2 – 2)
Students at the White Marsh Campus- Building 1 will begin their day at 8:15 AM and end at 3:00 PM. Students may be dropped off between 8:00-8:15 AM. Students who arrive between 7:30- 7:45 AM should be dropped off at Before Care with no charge.
Early Learning Center students must be dropped off (and signed in) and picked up directly at their classrooms. Early Learning Center classrooms equipped with exterior doors may be used each day. K5 students must be walked to the cafeteria doors. Students in grades 1-2 may walk themselves directly to their classroom. K2-K5 siblings can be dropped off at youngest child’s drop off location.
For student safety, we insist that they not linger in the hallways, parking lot, outside the buildings, or on the playground.
White Marsh Campus- Building 2 (Grades 3 – 8)
Students at the White Marsh Campus- Building 2 will begin their day at 8:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM. Students may be dropped off in the car line between 7:45-8:00 AM. Students who arrive between 7:30- 7:45 AM should be dropped off at Before Care with no charge.
Main Campus (Grades 9 – 12)
Students at the Main Campus will begin their day at 8:00 AM and end at 3:10 PM. Students may be dropped off between 7:45-8:10 AM. Students who arrive between 7:30- 7:45 AM should be dropped off at the gym for Before Care with no charge.
For student safety, we insist that they not linger in the parking lot, outside the buildings, in church hallways, or on the playground at any time.
Dismissal Procedures
For the safety of all children, parents/guardians must show a photo ID at pickup time for all ELC (Early Learning Center) students or if you do not have a car tag.
Students in K2-K4 must be picked up and signed out in their classrooms by a parent or guardian. K5 students are picked up and signed out through the cafeteria. Please pick up your child using the exterior door, if the classroom has one. Students who are not picked up by 3:30 PM will report to After Care.
Students in grades t-8 should be picked up from the car line (Text-to-Car Lot option available for grades 6-8). Each family has been issued car tags to facilitate an orderly dismissal; additional car tags are available for purchase in the school office. The car tags are to be displayed on the rear-view mirror during car line. Parents should remain in their cars, and follow the car line around the building. When approaching the car line, please flip the visor down so the school staff can clearly see the last name printed on the car tag to facilitate the quick dismissal. Students who are not picked up by 3:30 PM will report to After Care.
Students in grades 9-12 will be dismissed from the Text-to-Car Lot behind the Educational Wing.
If another adult will be picking up your child, please call the school office at least one hour prior to dismissal to submit the person’s name and his physical description for the teachers and dismissal attendants. We cannot release a child to anyone to whom a parent or guardian has not given permission to pick up the child.
Transportation
Rosedale does not offer bus transportation for students to and from school. This transportation needs to be coordinated by a family member.
