Rosedale Color Run Fundraiser
The 2023 Color Run fundraiser has officially launched!!💥 Our goal is to raise money for continued technology upgrades for all campuses, as well as assistance for our Fine Arts and Athletics Programs. The Color Run will take place on October 20 and is one of the most fun and loved days of the year! Bullying Prevention Month
October is Bullying Prevention Month here at Rosedale! We have many exciting activities planned for students and families as we encourage kindness, create conversation, and stand up to bullying.
College & Career Fair
October 2 @ 5 PM – 8 PM in Main Campus Gymnasium
This is a special opportunity for high school students where numerous colleges, universities, and businesses will promote their institution and be available to answer any questions you may have! This event is free of charge, so don’t miss out!Register Here
October 3 for Grades 3 – 12
Students may dress down if they are wearing the color Orange. Students will be encouraged to sign an anti-bullying pledge banner and join in special activities where they will learn strategies for creating a culture of kindness and inclusion.
Rosedale Paint Night
October 7 @ 6 PM in WM2 Assembly Room
Join us for a fantastic fundraiser in support of Rosedale Christian Academy’s Arts Department! You’ll receive paint supplies, guidance from a professional instructor, and a large canvas to paint a pumpkin themed picture. We’ll be serving up scrumptious fall treats, including pumpkin muffins, hot apple cider, and other baked goods.Register Here
Parent Coffee & Connect with Pastor X

Pastor X, a certified mental health counselor and associate pastor at Rosedale Baptist Church, will give parents valuable insights to help them recognize the signs of bullying in their children. Parents will also learn practical strategies for combating bullying in an effective and Christ-centered manner.Register Here

Sock it to Bullying
October 9 for Grades 3 – 12
Students are encouraged to wear “crazy socks” in any color or style to “sock it to bullying.”
Library Pumpkin Contest
Grades K5-2 bring in pumpkins October 16-18
Grades 3-5 bring in pumpkins October 23-25
Decorate a pumpkin based on a book character! Students may bring ONE pumpkin (small enough to carry; oversized pumpkins are discouraged). Pumpkins cannot be carved or cut. Students may use stickers, markers, paint, glue, and various materials to decorate their pumpkins. Judging is on Thursdays! Pumpkins will be sent home that Friday. Be as creative as you like! Prizes and awards will be given to the winners for each grade. Email email@example.com with any questions.
Black Out Day
October 16 for Grades 3 – 12
Students are encouraged to wear the color black to school in demonstration of a pledge to stay off of social media for 24 hours.
Beachmont Harvest Celebration
October 17 @ 6 PM at 6433 Mt Vista Rd Kingsville, MD 21087
This is a combined Rosedale Baptist Church and Rosedale Christian Academy event. We are renting out the corn maze at Beachmont Ministries for the evening of October 17. Families will enjoy an incredible corn maze, many onsite actives, as well as the option to purchase concessions. The event runs from 6 – 9 PM. The cost for the event is $15 per person. Dress to Impress Day
October 23 for Grades 3 – 12
Bring on the compliments! Students are invited to dress in their best clothes for school and look for opportunities to compliment one another.
