Be A Kind Human Month – White Marsh 2

All October, our White Marsh 2 campus is focusing on three simple practices that shape our culture: Speak Kindness. Show Kindness. Share Kindness. Join us—model kind words, serve in small ways, and invite others in.
Bring Back the Box Tops
October – May 2026
This year, Panther Families have the chance to create something special for their children: new picnic tables and umbrellas at White Marsh patios.
Our goal is to raise $1,000 through the Box Tops for Education program. When you scan your receipts, you’re directly helping your child and their classmates enjoy outdoor spaces where they can gather, eat, and build friendships.
Here’s how to join in:
- Download the Box Tops app.

- Scan your receipts every time you shop.

Coffee & Chapel
October 16, 2025
Parents of all grade levels are warmly invited to join us for a morning of fellowship, worship, and prayer.
Start with coffee and connection in the church lobby, then step into chapel alongside our high school students. Afterwards, our Praying Parents group will be leading a time of prayer over the High School Campus. If you missed the first meeting, this is a perfect chance to join in.

Picture Day
October 17, 2025
Smile, Panthers! Picture Day is Friday, October 17, 2025. All students will have individual portraits and class photos taken.
Uniform & Dress: Navy polo with school logo or blue jumper, uniform bottoms & shoes, no sweatshirts/jackets in photos. Students with PE on Oct 17 should wear the regular (non-PE) uniform.
Ordering: Paper forms sent home; online ordering link provided by email and posted here when available.
Location: On campus by grade schedule.
Pumpkin Decorating Contest
October 20 – 22, 2025
Grades: K5 – 2
Time: During School Hours
It’s pumpkin season! Our K5–2 students are invited to participate in this year’s Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Each student may bring in a decorated pumpkin—painted, costumed, or creatively themed! Pumpkins will be displayed in the main hallway throughout the week for families to enjoy. Prizes will be awarded for creativity, originality, and effort.

Freshman Fiesta

Grade 9
Time: 3:30 – 5:30 PM
Our Freshman Fiesta is a special time for 9th-grade students to build community and celebrate their first year of high school. Join us for games, food, and fun with your classmates as we kick off the year together.
Book Character Day & Parade
October 24, 2025
Grades: PK3 – 2
Time: During School Hours
Students are invited to dress as their favorite storybook character for our annual Book Character Day! Costumes should reflect characters from age-appropriate books, and each child should bring the book that inspired their outfit. We’ll celebrate with a morning parade and class activities that highlight a love of reading and imagination.
Costumes should be simple and comfortable for classroom wear. Please refer to your school email and flyer for more details.
8th Grade Preview Week
October 27 – 31, 2025
Grade 8
Time: During School Hours
8th Grade Preview Week gives middle school students a glimpse into what’s ahead in high school! Students will participate in special sessions, meet high school teachers, and explore academic and extracurricular opportunities available at Rosedale. It’s an exciting week designed to inspire and prepare our future high school Panthers.
College & Career Fair
October 28, 2025
Grades: 7 – 12
Time: 2:30 – 4:30 PM
Our annual College & Career Fair gives students the opportunity to explore their future pathways and connect with representatives from colleges, trade schools, military branches, and local businesses. Students will have a chance to ask questions, gather resources, and learn about a wide variety of post-secondary options that align with their interests and goals.
Basketball Tryouts
October 30 – 31, 2025
Grades: 5 -12
Basketball season is here! Students in Grades 5–12 are invited to try out for Rosedale’s Middle School, JV, and Varsity Basketball teams.
To participate, all students must register and complete the required handbook and compliance forms prior to tryouts.
Rosedale Fall Book Fair
November 3 – 141, 2025
Join us for our Fall Book Fair, presented by SkyTree Book Fairs! Students will explore a variety of age-appropriate titles — from picture books to middle school favorites — all curated to inspire imagination and encourage lifelong reading.
