At Rosedale Christian Academy, everything we do is grounded in our mission: to Reach students for Christ, Cultivate character, and Achieve academic excellence.
As we strive to fulfill this mission, we are intentional about equipping students with the tools to grow in both faith and character even in their earliest years. From Scripture memory, our curriculum rooted in a biblical worldview, and everything that is done in between, we seek to magnify the Lord.
By establishing Christ as our firm foundation while the students are small, we pray this intentionality stays with them through their teen and adult years.
We All Need a Guide
If you’re like most people, you rely on guides in many areas of life —sometimes without even realizing it.
It might be a person, such as a tour guide through a museum. Other times, it might be a map on a hiking trail or a set of instructions for assembling furniture. We use guidance to understand expectations at work and to help us navigate decisions at home.
When we think about raising children—in the classroom or in the living room—this need becomes even more important. The need for a guide feels natural and anticipated —yet sometimes so hard to find.
We live in a culture of instant solutions and quick fixes. Yet, deep down, we all thrive off direction, wisdom, and counsel. And in this—we are not alone.
Biblical Direction for Everyday Life
In the book of Psalms, King David earnestly seeks God’s guidance:
“For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me and guide me.” – Psalm 31:3
Asaph echoes that heart:
“Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel…” – Psalm 73:24
We have the incredible privilege of being given the living Word of God to guide us—every day, in every decision.
Faith: Our First and Foundational Value
Faith is the first and most foundational of our core values, as we desire to see every student come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and develop a deeper walk with Him.
We believe the gospel is clearly laid out in Scripture and offers the free gift of salvation to all who believe.
Our classroom rules, routines, and expectations are built to consistently point students back to Christ—following the biblical command:
“Let all things be done decently and in order.” – 1 Corinthians 14:40
As we teach, model, and live out Christlike character, we use the Bible as our daily guide—a directive for how to live lives that reflect our Savior.
Home + School = Partnership
While we understand the importance of laying a strong foundation at school each day, we know that the most powerful growth happens when home and school partner together.
We invite you to:
Use Scripture as your daily guide.
Reinforce biblical truths at home.
Talk with your child about what they’re learning.
Get involved in meaningful ways.
As we train our students to walk worthy of their calling, we lead by example—lives marked by character and built on faith.
And in all of it, we do it together—with God as our Guide.
