Gifts and Donations Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) apply to your monetary gifts or donations (each a “Donation”) made with or without the online transaction checkout donation service. Rosedale Christian Academy (“Rosedale”) is seeking monetary gifts or donations for the White Marsh Community Center Capital Campaign. Terms are subject to change by Rosedale (referred to as “us”, “we”, or “our” as the context may require) without prior written notice at any time, in our sole discretion. Any changes to the Terms will be updated on this page. You should review these Terms prior to donating. Your gift or donation will constitute your acceptance of and agreement to such changes.
- GIFT. The Donor irrevocably gives, delivers, transfers and assigns to Rosedale all rights, title and interest of monetary gifts and donations and understands that these assets shall become the property of ROSEDALE who shall have the sole legal right to determine their disposition. All gifts, bequests, and devises to this Fund are subject to acceptance by Rosedale Leadership.
- “A RESTRICTED GIFT TO ROSEDALE TO BE USED FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE OR ACTIVITY TO INCLUDE NAMEING RIGHTS OR SPONSORSHIP” means a Restricted gift shall be used to provide support to ROSEDALE for the sole purpose of supporting the capital campaign of the White Marsh Community Center. A separate document outlining the specifics may be required.
- ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, ROSEDALE shall hold all donations, and all payments from Capital Campaign funds, subject to the provisions of the applicable Maryland laws and the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws of the Rosedale Baptist Church.
- NOT A SEPARATE TRUST. All money and property donated to ROSEDALE on an unrestricted basis shall be held as part of the general assets.
- ACCOUNTING. The receipts and disbursements of the funds shall be accounted for through standard accounting practices.
- INVESTMENT OF FUNDS. ROSEDALE shall have all powers necessary, or in its sole discretion desirable, to carry out the purposes of the funds, including, but not limited to, the power to retain, invest, and reinvest the funds and the power to commingle the assets of the funds with those of other funds held by ROSEDALE for investment purposes in accordance with MD applicable law governing investment of public funds.
